DIY Gold Polka Dots
I haven't had a DIY for some time now and I really was missing a project. I like to have projects and little craft to do on the weekends. I have two of these vases and thought they would look darling with some polka dots. I needed a little something for my desk. I love how it turned out!!
I used my circle punch and scrap paper to create a painting template for the dots. I then taped them to the inside of the vases aligning my dots! Then, I painted on the outside! After the paint was dry to the touch, I placed the vases in a cold oven and turned it on the 350 degrees. As soon as the oven reached the desired temperature I turned it off and left the vase in there to cool down. Sort of a "cure" process. I would not submerge my vases now that I have painted it, but rather hand wash it lightly. All together from start to finish, this little diy took about an 2 hours to compete. Super easy and a beautiful addition!
Love the look with the hydrangeas!
Do you have any DIY to share? I would love to hear what you have made lately!
