Wednesday wants are a little late today... but it's still Wednesday.  I attended an event last night and when I got home I just didn't have the energy to pull my list together!  Do you ever just get home and want to do nothing?  Yeah, that was me last night.  So this week's list has a few summer fun items and well as a staple item or two!  Loving tassels anyway I can get them, on the hem of this fun top or a pair of fun earrings.  Love them!  I love my slip silk pillowcase and swear by it.  Add a little Kiehl's midnight recovery and you are in for the best beauty sleep you can get.  I am loving the saddle tan this season and this bag is super cute.  I have been a fan of Ashley Pittman jewelry for some time and hope to add a few pieces of hers to my collection of bracelets. Honestly I would love any piece of Ashley Pittman jewelry.  Taking the best of both worlds this sandal is a comfy flat and has an ankle strap.  Soft pink lips please with this Dior lip glow, and finally this off the shoulder gingham top/tunic is adorable.  This image doesn't do it justice and it's on sale too!  Enjoy!

Wednesday Wants - Edition 3.3

I am loving all the styles of fabulous wedges this season.  Not all wedges are created equal.  There are wood, rope, tie up, lace up.... you pretty much get the idea.  Today I have rounded up a few favorites that have caught my eye.  I am loving the color #7 but they are hard to find but I linked to them anyway and they are available in another color combination as well.  If I had to chose favorites I would go with #5 and #8 for comfort, #6 and #7 obviously for great color, and #4 and #9 for the great ankle strap.  What are your favorite picks?

I have been enjoying this gorgeous weather jacket less.  Yup... it's that warm out right now.  I know not to count on it lasting too long, but what a nice tease at spring weather in late January.  I ran errands over the past weekend like a mad woman, stopping by Kendra Scott on The Country Club Plaza,  Natashas's Mulberry & Mott, and a few other sponsors preparing for The Blog Guild's first workshop of the year.  You can read about it here and purchase tickets if you're local.  If you follow me on snap chat >> (lisa.murie) you witnessed the escapades Erin and I had.  Hey, in my defense I can parallel park just fine!!  Monday thru Friday I dress in business or business casual. Translation=No Denim so when the weekend roles around I am looking for cute and comfy. 

You have heard the expression.... There's no place like home, or Home is where the heart is, or how about Home is where ever you are.  Well for me, home is Oklahoma.  I was born and raised there, lived there until I was 40 and it will always be considered home to me.  I love the Sooners, Rustic Cuff, Garth Brooks, and one of the best and largest Oktoberfest in the country is in Oklahoma.  So I'm an "Okie" at heart even if my feet are in Kansas.  Where do you call home?

Monochromatic Flutter Top

Now this top would generally be on my list of items to stay away from.  The flutter peplum is not something that is flattering on everyone.  I'm not sure what possessed me to pick it up and try it on but it ended up in the dressing room with me.  As soon as I put it on I felt good in it.  I twirled around in the dressing room mirror to my surprise and thought It was flattering to my surprise.  The details on the neckline and the monochrome pattern is so delicate but sexy.  I chose to wear a solid tank under the top as its a wee bit sheer.  I may look for a cage tank or cage bra if it covers enough to wear under it.  I didn't know what a cage bra was until I started researching them.... sounds a bit risqué. What would you wear under this top?

I love a good tunic.  And by good tunic I mean a top long enough to cover your bum but not so big it looks maternity.  I had my first holiday party this weekend and was shopping for something festive. Perhaps red or green..... I know so cliché.  I wasn't having much luck because what I was picturing in my head and what I wanted to spend were totally not on the same page. I did however score this darling  top.  When I saw this tunic in Loft (And on sale) I knew it would look great with leggings or skinny jeans.  Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I have a low key holiday planned this year.  No traveling; just small and intimate. Hope you enjoy the long weekend with friends and family and don't eat too much!

I mentioned earlier this week I was sharing fall looks with items I bet you probably already own in your wardrobe.  Putting together a great look shouldn't always revolve around a new purchase.  Sure, we all like something new but realistically can you justify your time shopping every single week?  I love to shop as much as the next person but time is valuable and I don't want to always be in stores or shopping online.  Not to mention if I already own something similar it's a great savings too! Cardigan.  I bet you have a few in different colors.  If you don't, Old Navy or Target would be where I would start.  They offer a wide selection of colors at an affordable price.
Speaking of Old Navy, this chambray shirt is a staple I picked up there a few seasons back.  They never go out of style. 
Distress denim.  You must have at least one pair.  If not, any pair of denim will do. 
Scarf.  Umm hello?  You probably have more than you realize. 
Leopard pumps.  Any neutral color will work. 
Accessories.  Throw on a few bracelets ( I would choose gold jewelry for tans, browns, and orange colors, and silver jewelry for black, gray, and red)

Are you not loving the blush and burgundy for fall?   Banana Republic is having a great sale and most everything is either on sale or on fall discount so I wouldn't wait if you love an item because the sale won't last much longer.   You can't beat 40% off select new items and an additional 40% off already sale items.     I was in my Banana Republic store this week and may have picked up a few of these items already.  But I am going to have to go back for the rest.  I'm loving it!

I have watched the Real Housewives of BH's from the beginning.  Last night the RHBH was on and let me just tell ya..... If those were my girl friends I would most definitely have to do some housekeeping with a few.  My favorites for sure are the Lisa's, just a coincidence I promise.  This is Lisa Rhinna's first year on the show and several episodes back where she first called one of the other housewives as a "wackadoodle".... I knew she and I could be great friends in real life.  She is my kind of friend! It was a touchy subject on last nights episode at their dinner and it became explosive between the girls when the discussion of alcoholism was mentioned.   I know the damage alcoholism can have all to well on a person.... My ex-husband was an alcoholic and in the end it cost him his life.  Addiction is a disease that is hard to understand for someone not affected.  I truly felt that when Lisa reached out to Kim she was coming from a good place.  Moving on.....        

 Speaking of friends, Erin and I met up last weekend for a collaboration that I will be sharing with you soon.  We were running out of sun light and time so we popped into the parking garage at the mall and snapped a few outfit pics.  The snow was beginning to melt creating the perfect afternoon for running around in my Hunter boots.

One of my favorite stores has packed up and left town.  I don't know if I was living under a rock or what.... but how did I miss that?  Ann Taylor had 3 locations here in the metro a few years ago and then closed one store.  Okay.... that was not too bad.  But now they up and closed the other two leaving me to only shop online.  Oh Ann, how I will miss you! Online shopping with you is not the same.  But right now 40% off isn't too shabby!
